(The May 15th meeting was cancelled due to a power outage. This is the re-scheduled date.) Livingston Planning Board is having a special meeting to hear an application from Saint Barnabas Medical Center to expand their Emergency Department. Per the legal notice in this week's West Essex Tribune they also want to put a large lit sign on the roof of the Emergency Department to possibly match the lighting scheme of the Cooperman Family Pavillion section of the Medical Center which could impact the nighttime scenery in the neighborhoods across the street in West Orange.
The meeting is being held at the Livingston Municipal Building at 357 South Livingston Avenue. Attendees may also want to comment on amenities they would like to see in the enlarged Emergency Department.
